How RallyRank Works
Three mini steps:
1. Create your crew
Invite your friends or regular playing partners. RallyRank is built around real-life groups, not random opponents.
2. Log your matches
Enter who played, the teams, and the final score. That’s it. Singles or doubles, casual games or sweaty battles—it all counts.
3. Watch your FUPR evolve
RallyRank updates everyone’s FUPR after each match. Beat stronger players, edge out tight games, or claw your way back from a losing streak—your rating reflects your story, not just the score.

What is FUPR?
FUPR stands for Friends’ Unofficial Pickleball Rating. It shows how your game is trending with the people you actually play with, without feeling like a tournament scorecard. Think of it as DUPR’s friendly cousin—easy to use, fun to check, and gentle on off days.
FUPR looks at who you played, how strong they are, and how close the score was. Beating stronger players boosts your rating more, beating lower players moves it a little, and losing to stronger players barely affects you. Close games cause small changes, while bigger wins or losses shift things a bit more—but always softer than a serious competitive system.
Why use FUPR?
DUPR is super awesome for tournaments, clubs, and serious competition. But most pickleball isn’t played under bright lights with medals on the line—it’s played with friends, at your local courts, often with a lot of laughter and a little bit of chaos.
FUPR lives inside the RallyRank app as a rating built for that world. It feels familiar if you’ve seen DUPR, but it doesn’t ask you to be a pro. It’s unofficial on purpose—gentle when you lose, generous when you punch above your weight, and perfect for playful trash talk in your group chat.

New FUPR = Old FUPR
+ Match Weight × (Actual Performance – Expected Performance)
Where:
Expected Performance = based on the rating difference
Actual Performance = based on whether you won and by how much
Match Weight = small early on, smaller later
In plain language:
“Your FUPR changes based on how well you played compared to how well you were expected to play.”
